Spanning over 1500 acres and with a rich history reaching back over 300 years, Sheppard Farms supplies New York and New Jersey with fresh asparagus, lettuce, cucumbers and more. In the 1600s the Sheppard family moved to New Jersey and began a small vegetable farm. While their operation has moved, grown and incorporated new technologies in the ensuing centuries, some things have remained the same; the farm is still run with love and care by the Sheppard family, and their commitment to providing the local area with fresh, healthy food is as strong as ever.
